6/23/2026 - The AI-Amplified Experience: Settings, Connection Goals, Meeting Guides, & Notetaker

This release brings the AI-Amplified Experience to your programs. Four capabilities work together to help connections start strong, prepare for every meeting, and turn conversations into action.

Today, mentoring connections often lose momentum in the gaps: between being matched and setting goals, between scheduling a meeting and knowing what to talk about, and between having a great conversation and acting on it. This release closes those gaps with a connected set of AI features:

  • Chronus AI Settings, a single home for enabling, configuring features, privacy, and governing AI across your org and programs

  • AI-Guided Connection Goals, a guided, AI-assisted path from connection to focus areas to goals to first meeting

  • AI-Personalized Meeting Guides help partners find or create the right meeting guide for their meetings, taking into account the participant’s profile, goals, and past conversations

  • AI Meeting Notetaker, an automatic capture of summaries, key points, transcripts, and next steps from mentoring conversations

Together they form a continuous loop: set up the connection, structure each meeting, capture what happened, and adapt the next one.

Applicable For

The four releases are connected, but have some differences:

Feature

Program Types Release is Applicable To

Who it's for

Enablement

Chronus AI Settings

Org-level settings

Admins Only

Chronus AI is configured at org level; features then enabled per program by admins

AI-Guided Connection Goals

Mentoring 1:1 and Group

Mentors and Mentees

Enabled by admins at the program level

AI-Personalized Meeting Guides

Recommended Guides: 1:1 Mentoring (GC v2).

Guides Generate with AI: all program types (Mentoring, Flash, Group, Circles, ERGs)

Mentors and Mentees

Enabled by admins at the program level

AI Meeting Notetaker

1:1 programs in Mentoring, Peer, and Flash for programs using Chronus in-app meeting experience

All Meeting Participants

Enabled by admins at the program level; requires Chronus Video Call

Please note:

  • AI features are turned on or off at the program level only. The org-level page is for governance and shared preferences.

  • AI guide recommendations require Guided Conversations(GC) and connection goals to be present. The generate-your-own guide experience does not require GC.

  • AI Notetaker requires participants to use the Chronus in-app meeting experience.

How It Works

Chronus AI Settings

Chronus AI Settings where all current and future AI settings can be enabled on the org-level, and where global admins can set privacy settings for participant data. From here, admins can:

  • See which AI features are enabled across programs (read-only at org level).

  • Govern Profile Permissions and control which user-profile fields AI is allowed to read for personalization, set once organization-wide.

  • Set AI Meeting Guides preferences (style and tone, language and vocabulary, and whether to include role-play scenarios and activities) once at the org level, with the option to override per program.

  • Enable and configure AI features at the program level, and add program-level context that meaningfully improves output quality.

The org level handles governance and shared defaults; features are enabled at the program level. Go to help center article.

AI-Guided Connection Goals

A guided onboarding journey helps new connections move from "matched" to "doing the work." When a user opens their connection plan for the first time, they're walked through meeting their partner, confirming focus areas, scheduling a first meeting, and setting goals, with AI suggesting a set of starter goals based on the connection's focus areas and context. Users can generate, edit, regenerate, or dismiss AI suggestions, and nothing is saved without their action.

Connections that set goals show 2x more engagement across downstream metrics.

AI-Personalized Meeting Guides

Participants see AI-recommended agendas tailored to their connection. Recommendations are based on past conversations, connection goals, and their profile. Participants can also generate their own guide on demand by describing what they want to discuss.

Recommendations appear when scheduling a meeting and when a meeting is scheduled without a guide applied.

Admin-assigned static guides continue to work as they do today.

AI Meeting Notetaker

For Chronus video calls, the Notetaker automatically captures the conversation so participants can stay present. Within minutes of a call ending, both participants see a recap: a brief summary, clickable key discussion points, the full transcript, and suggested next steps that can be converted into tasks. The same summary flows into the existing post-meeting follow-up email and into a "Recap from last meeting" card that helps users prepare for their next conversation.

Confidentiality is built in: only audio is captured (never video), the Notetaker starts only when the organizer joins, only the organizer can pause recording mid-meeting, participants are notified, and AI-generated summaries are clearly labeled.

Why This Matters

These features are designed to reinforce one another across the connection lifecycle:

  • Stronger starts. Guided goal-setting closes the activation gap, so mentees know what to do next and mentors walk into the first conversation with context.

  • Better-prepared meetings. When more than one guide is assigned to a connection, second-meeting setup rates rise sharply. This release extends that structure to every meeting, not just the first.

  • Conversations that lead to action. Captured meeting context (topics, decisions, next steps) feeds directly into future agenda recommendations, so the partner’s experience gets more personalized as they continue in their mentorship.

  • Admin control and quality. Centralized AI Settings gives admins clear governance over data access, tone, and enablement. Output quality improves meaningfully when program context (description, participants, industry) is configured.

Compliance & Security

These features were built with privacy and customer control in mind:

  • Customer data is never used for model training, and there is no cross-tenant learning. Recordings and transcripts are stored in tenant-isolated infrastructure, and customers on EU clusters stay in EU clusters.

  • Admins cannot read individual meeting transcripts or AI summaries — not even on Work on Behalf. Individual content is visible only to meeting participants.

  • Profile data access is governed by admins through Profile Permissions, controlling exactly which fields AI may read.

  • No automated decision-making. Every AI suggestion can be regenerated, edited, or dismissed, and nothing commits without a user's explicit action.

  • Subprocessor, privacy notice, and transparency updates accompany this rollout. As part of enabling AI, the Chronus Subprocessors page and AI transparency page are being updated, and the end-user privacy notice will include an "applicable if AI is enabled" section. Customers with their own custom privacy notice are responsible for incorporating the change; end users do not need to re-accept terms. Order forms will be updated to reflect the AI services added.
