What Participants Experience
When scheduling a meeting — Participants are prompted to select a personalized guide. Recommendations are based on connection goals, focus areas, and profile information (using only admin-permitted fields). They can preview before applying and give feedback via thumbs up or thumbs down, with the option to add a comment.
When a meeting is already scheduled (no guide applied) — Participants will see a recommendation on their connection plan. The meeting details page surfaces a teaser guide they can preview and apply.
Participants can also visit the guide library anytime to browse recommendations or generate a fully custom guide — by describing what they want to discuss or selecting from sample prompts.
How to Enable
Go to Manage → Program Configuration for your program. Scroll down to find the Chronus AI option.
Find AI Meeting Guides and toggle it on.
You can see which programs have AI Meeting Guides enabled from the global-level Chronus AI page.
Chronus AI must be enabled at the global level by your Global Admin. For full setup details, see Getting Started with Chronus AI Settings.
Configuring Guide Preferences
Configure preferences so guides reflect your program's style. These can be set at the global level and overridden per program — program-level always takes priority.
Tone — Friendly or Professional
Vocabulary — Override default terms to match your language (e.g., "Firm" instead of "Company")
Content inclusions — Include or exclude AI-suggested scenario discussions and activities
Use Create Sample Guide to preview output before going live. Guides work with defaults, but customizing preferences meaningfully improves quality — especially for programs outside career development.
Supported Program Types
Generate with AI (on-demand guide creation) is available for all program types and does not require Guided Conversations.
AI-Recommended Guides (automatic recommendations) are available for 1:1 connections and require end user-driven Guided Conversations to be enabled. Automatic recommendations require connection goals to be present, or it must be the first meeting in the connection. For reliable recommendations, the connection should have focus areas set and more than 50% of profile fields used in matching permitted for AI processing by your Global Admin.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from AI Game Plan?
AI Game Plan focuses on goal-setting at the start of the program. AI Meeting Guides focuses on session-level preparation. They're complementary — goal data from Game Plan directly feeds guide recommendations.
Do admin-assigned (static) guides still work?
Yes. AI-generated guides are additive, not a replacement.
Can a participant remove an AI-generated guide?
Yes. They can clear the agenda from any meeting.
What languages are supported?
AI recommendations use the mentee's Chronus language setting. On-demand guides use the language of the person creating them.
Can admins see what guides participants generated?
Once applied to a meeting, a guide is visible to admins the same way any agenda is. User feedback (thumbs up/down) is tracked internally to improve recommendations.
Is there an agenda reminder email?
Yes — "Reminder to define meeting agenda" is sent 7 days before a meeting if no agenda has been set. It's enabled by default and can be turned off under System Emails → Matching & Engagement → Meetings.
