Introduction

Global Surveys in Chronus simplify feedback collection across all your mentoring programs. Instead of conducting separate surveys for each program, you can gather all responses in one place, providing a comprehensive view of engagement, satisfaction and trends. This streamlined approach makes it easier to track key metrics like Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Scores (NPS) across your entire organization.

Who Should Use This?

  • Global Administrators seeking a high-level overview of feedback across all programs.

  • HR & Learning Teams measuring engagement and satisfaction trends.

  • Executives & Leaders evaluating the effectiveness of mentoring programs.

The Importance of Utilizing Global Surveys

Understanding the success of your programs requires comprehensive insights rather than scattered data points. Global Surveys provide a centralized way to track feedback, measure engagement and optimize mentoring programs—without the hassle of managing multiple surveys separately. Here’s how they help:

  • Get a Full Picture – View survey results from all programs in one place instead of managing separate surveys.

  • Easier Data Analysis – Responses include a "Program" column, allowing you to filter and compare feedback by program.

  • Simple Distribution – Share Global Program Surveys via a direct link, making it easy to collect responses through emails or announcements.

  • Track Mentoring Connection Health – Monitor connection health from your Chronus dashboard and use insights to improve program impact.

  • Easy to Use – Drag and drop questions, edit responses and customize surveys with just a few clicks.

Feature Highlights

Finding Global Surveys

As a Global Administrator, navigate to Manage > Engagement > Global Surveys at the Organization level to access this feature.

If this option isn’t available, contact your CXM or Chronus Support to have it enabled for your organization.

There are two types of Global Surveys:

  • Connection Surveys – Sent within mentoring connections and linked to specific programs.

  • Global Surveys – Open to all users, regardless of their connection status and shared via a link.

How Are Surveys Sent Out?

Surveys help gather valuable insights, but the way they are distributed depends on the type of survey being used. Here’s how each survey is sent:

  • Connection Surveys – Automatically sent through connection plans at the program level, ensuring timely feedback from participants.

  • Global Surveys – Sent manually using a communication method of your choice, typically via email or an announcement with a shareable survey link.

Creating & Managing Surveys

  • Click “New Survey” to start.

  • Enter a survey name and proceed to add any survey questions as required.

  • Use Manage > Edit to change the survey title, update questions or adjust answer options.

  • Drag and drop questions to reorder them easily.

  • Share your survey through email or an announcement using the provided link.

Viewing Survey Results

This is very similar to how surveys behave at the program level, with the added ability for administrators to filter results by programs at the organization level.

  • Trends Tab: Shows overall patterns and insights from responses. An additional option to filter by Program Name.

  • Responses Tab: Displays individual survey answers for more detailed analysis. Here as well, there will be a column for “Program Name.”

  • Connection Surveys will show response rates, while Global Surveys will only show total responses, as distribution is determined by the admin.

  • Program-level moderators do not have direct access to Global Survey responses, as they are managed at the organizational level. However, they can still view the responses for their respective programs.

How Can You Use Global Surveys?

Global Surveys simplify data collection, making it easier to track feedback across multiple programs in one place. They help organizations gather insights, compare program performance, and measure overall satisfaction—all while reducing manual effort. Here’s how they can be used:

  • Efficient Data Collection – Send one global survey across all programs, streamlining survey management and ensuring consistent data collection.

  • Program Benchmarking – Compare responses from different programs to identify strengths and challenges. Use data-driven insights to enhance underperforming programs and refine strategies.

  • Company-Wide Satisfaction – Conduct regular pulse surveys to monitor employee engagement and satisfaction across programs, providing a holistic view of overall sentiment.

Conclusion

Global Surveys make it easy to collect and analyze feedback across mentoring programs in one place. They help organizations track engagement, measure satisfaction and improve program effectiveness without managing multiple surveys. With program benchmarking, real-time insights and flexible distribution, leaders can make data-driven decisions to enhance mentoring initiatives.
