Enable Connection Surveys for Non-Logged-In Responses

Simplify survey access to improve user experience, increase response rates and support all engagement programs with connection surveys.

Updated this week

Introduction

Users can now complete connection surveys without logging in, making participation easier and boosting response rates. This update streamlines access and increases connection feedback across engagement programs.

This feature is especially useful for users who log in infrequently, such as busy mentors or healthcare patients, allowing them to quickly complete surveys without extra steps. It also benefits industries where users are often away from computers, enabling seamless survey completion on mobile browsers without needing an app.

Key Benefits for End Users

  • Eases user experience: Helps users to have a simple and smooth survey response experience, reducing login and page jumps.

  • Increases Survey response rate: Most responses can be captured, as logins are not mandatory for survey completion

Feature Highlights

Accessing the Feature: This setting, available at the survey level, is labeled “Allow users to answer surveys without logging in.”

Navigation Path: Manage > Engagement > Surveys > New Survey > Advanced Options > Allow users to answer surveys without logging in

For existing surveys, select a survey, click “Manage” at the top, then choose “Edit.” A popup will appear where you can enable or disable this setting.

Configuration: Once this setting is enabled and saved, future survey reminder emails will allow users to respond without logging in. To ensure this, the {{start_survey}} tag must be included in the email, generating a button that directs users to the survey on a non-logged-in page.

Conclusion

The Non-Logged-In Connection Surveys feature makes it easier for users to give feedback, improving accessibility and increasing response rates. Organizations can capture more insights, especially from users who log in infrequently or need quick access. This update ensures a smoother survey experience, making feedback collection more efficient and effective.
