Leaders of employee communities have a lot of responsibilities, including hosting events. This new co-hosting feature for Connection Communities lets Community Leads join forces—splitting the time, cost, and coordination of events while bringing more members together.
What’s changing?
Assign 1+ hosts to events: When creating an event, the creator can assign multiple hosts to share responsibilities. Hosts can be community owners, community leads or chapter leads.
Once added, new hosts will be sent an email alerting them that they are now a host of the event.
Multiple hosts can access guest list: All the hosts of the event can view the guests from their community. Guests from other communities will be anonymized.
Multiple hosts can edit event details: All event hosts can edit the details of the event.
Who's Impacted?
This feature is available to Community Owners, Leads and Chapter Leads running Connection Community programs.
This release does not impact Mentoring programs.
What’s the benefit?
Events are one of the most powerful ways Community and Chapter Leads keep members engaged and attract new ones. But planning and hosting them can be a big lift—especially when it comes to time, logistics, and budget.
Co-hosting makes it easier. By teaming up with other Community Leads, you can share the work, split the costs, and reach even more participants—all while delivering great experiences together.
